Join us this Fall for Studio Pottery every Thursday, for 6-weeks, October 12 - November 30 (no class, October 19 and November 23).
You'll learn hand-building the oldest use of the medium. Hand-building allows you to create an object out of clay using your hands and a variety of pottery tools.
You will learn the three main techniques and forming methods, pinching, coiling, and slab building and create fun projects, most functional (pots, vases, bowls) and others just for fun (masks, animals, pumpkins, etc.) With these techniques you can make just about anything out of clay!
Studio Pottery is open to children ages 6 - 12.
