Materials:




  1. 8 ½ ” x 11” sheets of White Paper or Larger
  2. Paint (Watercolor, Acrylics)
  3. Paint Brush
  4. Glue stick
  5. Pencils
  6. Pink Tissue Paper (recycled gift paper, or construction paper will work)
  7. Sponge




Directions:




  1. Using your watercolor palette, please paint the background a nice blue color for the "sky", leaving space at the bottom to use green paint to create "grass"
  2. Now use your pencil to draw a tree with many branches, then paint black with watercolor paint
  3. For Pink Tissue Paper Blossoms, cut the tissue paper into many small squares, roll or pinch the squares to create "blossoms" glue them onto the branches, use as many as you like, sprinkle some on the "grass" area too
  4. For the Pink Painted Blossoms, use white and pink acrylic paint along with a sponge (cut the corner of a clean sponge). Dab sponge into each color and create your Cherry Blossoms
