Materials:

1.   8 ½ ” x 11” sheets of White Paper or Larger

2. I HEART MOM Template (download here)

3.  Watercolor Paint Palette 

4.  Paint Brush

5.  Glue stick

6.  Scissors

7. Pencils

8. Glitter

9. Tape



Directions:



  1. Download I HEART MOM template, cut letters and heart out
  2. Position the letters and heart on your paper, if your positioning is how you would like it, tape them down (fold small pieces of tape together and place on the back of each letter/heart)
  3. Once letters and heart are secured use your paint (any colors you think Mom would like) to paint over them, be sure to paint the background as well. You can use large brush strokes, short brush strokes, use a sponge for texture or use the eraser end of a pencil to create many dots like confetti
  4. Let dry, then gently and slowly peel the letters and heart up
  5. Feel free to add any details you would like, such as glitter or stickers
