Materials:



  1. 1 sheet of 8 ½ ” x 11” White Paper or Larger
  2. Pencil
  3. Scissors
  4. Flower, Leaf, Stem Template (Download Here)
  5. Colorful Tissue Paper (can be leftover tissue/filler paper from a gift)
  6. Glue/Glue Stick
  7. Paint (Watercolor, Acrylics), Crayons or Pastels (optional)
  8. Paint Brush (optional)
  9. Paint Brush 1" Foam Brush, art sponge (Or cut a clean household sponge in quarters) - optional



Directions:



  1. Choose the orientation of your paper, it can be landscape or portrait
  2. Print the Flower, Leaf/Stem template, cut out the pieces and use them as a guide
  3. Select your colorful tissue paper, that you've recycled from old gift wrapping
  4. Use you template to cut leaves, stems and flowers from the tissue paper
  5. If you choose to paint the background of you paper do that now, we chose not to
  6. Now arrange your cut pieces on you paper. If you are happy with your arrangement glue the pieces down
  7. Carefully add a little glue to the top of your pieces as well
