Materials:
- 1 sheet of 8 ½ ” x 11” White Paper or Larger
- Paint (Acrylics)
- Paint Brush
- Paper Plates (2)
- Paper towels
- Fruit (preferable those that are no longer good to eat)
Directions:
- Cut the fruits (we chose lemons and clementines) in half and dry each piece on a paper towel, flesh side down for approximately 15 minutes
- Select your paint colors, acrylic paints work best and arrange them on one of the paper plates
- Use a paint brush and paint the fruit halves with your color selections, you may also dip the fruit halves in the paints and twits a bit to coat well, this works too
- Use the second paper plate to do a first run of your "stamp" to get some of the excess paint off before stamping your paper (we learned this the hard way😉)
- Now stamp your design on your paper, experiment with patterns
