Join us at Express Yourself Studios every Thursday from 4 pm to 6 pm for our exciting Drawing and Painting Workshop designed exclusively for creative minds aged 9 to 12. A new project each week.
What to Expect:
In this workshop, young artists will have the opportunity to develop their artistic skills while uncovering their own unique style. Through a variety of creative exercises and projects, students will explore the fascinating world of drawing and painting. A new project each week.
Working from a diverse range of inspirations, including still life setups, photographs, iconic images from art history, and their own independent themes and ideas, students will embark on an artistic journey like no other. This workshop encourages self-expression and creativity, allowing participants to bring their visions to life on canvas or paper.
Students will be guided through essential drawing and painting fundamentals and techniques. These include mastering line drawing, understanding value, playing with shape and pattern, creating texture, and perfecting shading and highlighting.
The workshop provides a supportive and encouraging environment where young artists can explore their creativity without fear, fostering their love for the arts.
