Express Yourself Studios is thrilled to announce our 2024 Summer Art Workshop for children aged 6-11. From June 24 to August 23, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, your child is invited to join us for a week or drop in for a day or more during any camp week.

Explore a Diverse Range of Artistic Projects. Each week brings a new adventure with artistic projects spanning various mediums, including painting, drawing, mixed media, collage, sculpture, and printmaking. All materials are included.

Weekly Themes and Projects:

Week 1: Cartooning - June 24 - June 28

Create a comic strip and cartoon characters
Translate characters into 3D through clay modeling

Week 2: Nature and Wildlife Art - July 1 - July 3

Explore the beauty of nature through art
Create paintings and pottery inspired by animals, plants, and landscapes
Incorporate natural elements into clay projects

Week 3: African Diaspora Art - July 8 - July 12

Explore traditional and contemporary African, Afro-Caribbean, and African American art
Create artworks inspired by African patterns, masks, pottery, and textiles

Week 4: Space and Galaxy Art - July 15 - July 19

Early Bird Rate (Before March 31, 2024) or Multi-Week/Child Discount: $295 per week.
Regular Weekly Fee (After March 31, 2024): $350.
Reduced Week (July 1-3): $210 (No Camp on July 4-5).
Drop-In Rate: $70 per day or $65 for multiple drop-in days or children on specific day(s) of camp.
No Camp Week: July 29 - August 2.
