 Express Yourself Studios located at 1877 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, NJ has posted its Summer Art Workshop schedule. The Summer Art Workshop is offered June 24 - August 23, 9 AM - 12 PM for children ages 5 - 12. The Summer Art Workshop provides children with the opportunity to experiment with a variety of media in a fun and supportive environment.
Children will be encouraged to use their imagination freely. Participants will create 10-15 art projects per week. The projects are often inspired by master artists, a particular process or technique. Children will learn about the artists or techniques through discussions, examples, and art-making. Projects include painting, drawing, mixed media, collage, sculpture and print making (relative to the camp week). An exhibition and reception featuring students’ artwork will be held at the conclusion of each workshop week. Register for a week or a day or two. Sibling rates available too! Camp meets July 1, 2, 3 only **$200 per week if enrollment and registration is completed prior to March 31, 2019 ***$200 per week if registering for 2 or more weeks or multiple children Express Yourself Studios is an art studio and art gallery dedicated to being an outlet for children and adults to express themselves creatively via classes in the arts. As well as a space where artist are welcome to display their work and create utilizing the studio’s space. The Studio offers Pinot & Pottery, Cocktails & Canvas and Wine Glass Painting Workshops for adults and weekly Art Classes and a Summer Art Workshop, for children; as well as hosts Private Art Workshops, Birthday Parties and other art events throughout the year.
